Saturday, my friend, Wendy, and I will travel to Ocala to meet Andrea and finalize the purchase of <a href="http://www.babiesinthesun.com">Babies In The Sun</a>. It's only a three hour drive, but it will seem longer due to the excitement I'm feeling, and the fact we'll be driving with kids ages 4, 3, 2 and two months old. Well, I think mostly because of the kids. ;-)<br /><br />It has been an interesting journey from "newbie cloth diapering mama," to "cloth diaper business owning mama." Five years ago this month, I thought that:<br />1) I didn't like babies or kids and I would never have any<br />2) Cloth diapers went the way of the dinosaur<br />and<br />3) Breastfeeding was for poor, uneducated people (boy was I wrong!)<br /><br />Life has a way keeping you on your toes. Just as soon as you think you've got things pegged, it all changes in ways you'd never imagined. I moved home from Japan in January 2001, and discovered I was pregnant in eary March. Whoa! I didn't even like babies. Amazingly enough, October 2001, Kaia was born and I fell madly in love with her. So much for not liking babies.<br /><br />--I have good intentions of finishing this post. Gonna try publishing to see how this works now.
